Investment Management

Today’s investment climate is complex and rapidly changing. In an interconnected global economy, sound investment strategy requires a thorough understanding of the financial, political and market environment of each option. At Personal Wealth Partners, our independence is paramount to this task. We don't offer proprietary products so we are free to recommend only those investments best suited to clients’ long-term goals and risk tolerance.

Equally important is investment strategy research. We utilize LPL Financial’s world-class proprietary research services and numerous others to which we subscribe. Through our state-of-the-art technology-based tools and in-depth interviews with industry experts, we develop a thorough understanding of each and every investment option we recommend.

The Process

We meet with you to identify your investment objectives, analyze your risk tolerance, and gather information on your current investment holdings, including retirement plans. After an extensive analysis encompassing markets, investment options and tax consequences, we make change recommendations in a written plan. With mutual agreement, we begin plan implementation by transferring pertinent assets to our broker/dealer, LPL Financial, for investment as specified. We will regularly review portfolio performance with you, and we are readily accessible by phone or email. In addition, you have secure 24/7 internet access to view your account status.

Asset Allocation and Rebalancing

The two main considerations in your portfolio are time horizon and risk tolerance. A well-balanced, diversified portfolio composed of several asset classes offers investors the potential for higher returns and less risk. While no single investment approach can guarantee success, asset allocation can temper the ups and downs of market performance.

Portfolio rebalancing is a crucial element in maintaining a well-diversified investment strategy. In response to changes in economic conditions, personal objectives, and product offerings, Personal Wealth Partners rebalances portfolios on a regular basis as part of our overall investment planning process.

Disclosure: There is no guarantee that a diversified portfolio will enhance overall returns or outperform a non-diversified portfolio. Diversification does not protect against market risk. Rebalancing a portfolio may cause investors to incur tax liabilities and/or transaction costs and does not assure a profit or protect against a loss.
